祝贺加达公司客户Jiang Zhu被任命为温哥华城市规划专员

[加达公司讯]加达公司90年代初客户Jiang Zhu先生被温哥华市议会任命为温哥华城市规划专员。这是温哥华华人团体的荣誉，同时也是我们加达公司荣誉，在此向Jiang Zhu先生表示衷心的祝贺。

Jiang Zhu先生国内知名大学本科毕业后，移民加拿大并在麦吉尔大学获得建筑学硕士学位。Jiang Zhu先生刚毕业时候的条件还不能满足加拿大移民要求，经加达公司合理建议调整申请时机后顺利移民加拿大。在加拿大Jiang Zhu先生继续深造，不断拼搏进取，取得了麦吉尔大学建筑学硕士学位，并成为STANTEC（温哥华一家十分有名望的建筑事务所）的重要建筑师。

Jiang Zhu先生被加拿大政府的认可充分体现了加拿大这个国家的民主与平等，对移民和当地居民一样对待，没有任何歧视，真正体现了加拿大多元文化共融的特点。

Stantec senior architect Jiang Zhu, MAIBC, has been appointed to Vancouver City Planning Commissioner, by Vancouver City Council. The Commission assists City Council in an advisory capacity regarding issues affecting long-range planning of the City including development, governance, transportation, and the public realm.

In addition to his current involvement in the Vancouver’s heritage society， as the committee members， in CHAPC (Chinatown Historic Area Planning Committee) and HBRP & TOD (Heritage Building Rehabilitation Program & Transfer of Density) Review Committee, this new appointment will enable Jiang to extend his contributions and apply his expertise with the city wide scale. “"It is my great honor to volunteer my time to serve the general public, offer my advice to the city council and represent Stantec,” says Jiang. 

Jiang holds a Master of Architecture (Post-Professional) Degree from McGillUniversity. He is a member of Architectural Institute of British Columbia, Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and a LEED Accredited Professional. Jiang is also serving as a member of Advisory Design Panel in city of Pitt Meadows, a council member of Canada-China Society of Science and Technology, mentors for AIBC’s Intern Architects Program and various non-profit organizations. In recognition of his continuous contributions to the profession and location community, Jiang received “The Ten Most Outstanding Young Chinese Canadian” award from The Federation of Chinese Youth of Canada in 2008.

Jiang will be one of 10 members of the general public appointed by Council to provide advice and guidance to matters relating to planning and development of the City.
